Lorenzo Ciccione - University of Trento, Italy
If I have to sum up my experience at the faculty I would say that I really felt considered and taken into account

When I arrived in Maastricht it was a sunny day in August. The city welcomed me with its cafés, flowers and beautiful colours. The first day at the Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience turned out to be the best opening ceremony I have ever seen in my life: singers, musicians and actors made a whole show for us. This example is only the beginning of an amazing semester. In our small classes, the PBL method was certainly the thing I appreciated the most, since it allowed us to freely talk and contribute to the learning process. Professors and tutors were always available to clarify our ideas or to simply discuss our academic interests. The members of the international office of the faculty were all super nice and friendly: they organised an entire week of social activities and they were ready to help us in every way. If I have to sum up my experience at the faculty I would say that I really felt considered and taken into account… which is something so rare in our universities nowadays!

There is definitely something about the river Maas, that by walking along its shores only once, you inevitably have to come back.

I chose Maastricht because I wanted to try the PBL educational system: I thought it was going to be good, but instead it was fantastic!
