Individual terms of employment
Before employment commences, the specific terms of employment applying to the person in question, such as salary and nature and duration of the appointment, have to be agreed on. The position and duties of the new employee have to be clearly defined as well.
These terms of employment are discussed with the human resources officer and the manager of the department before commencement of employment. The agreed conditions are laid down in an official letter.
