The University Sports Centre offers a modern facility with an extensive range of Technogym equipment for both strength and cardio training. Cardio equipment such as treadmills, bikes and cross trainers provide interactive touch screens, numerous applications, functionalities and digital entertainment. Our strength equipment includes conventional and plate loaded machines, free weights and a great variety of functional training equipment. Olympic weight lifting can be done on our platforms using Eleiko barbells and bumper plates. You can train on an individual base or join one of the group training sessions offered on a daily base.

You can try out the Gym (one session) for € 7.50. If you subsequently become a member then we will deduct this amount from the membership costs.

Supervision and professional advice
During your first visit to the gym, an instructor will help you find your way. One or more instructors are present to help you with your training, answer your questions and to secure a comfortable and safe environment. Ask the instructors to help you at any time, as they can show you how to train both safe and effective, inspire you with new exercises and keep you motivated. For a personal training plan (free of additional cost) you can book an appointment with an instructor at the Gym desk.
Mywellness for a better training experience
Mywellness is a cloud-based environment in which you can personalize and keep track of your training (indoor and outdoor), access an exercise database, participate in challenges and receive a training plan. Create an account easily via www.mywellness.com or via the cardio equipment in the Gym.
In addition, there is a mobile app so you can access your training data anytime and anywhere and access your training plan while in action.Check it out and turn to the instructors if you need help. Mywellness app is available in the Apple and Android store.

In-Gym group training sessions
Add extra fun and social interaction to your training by joining one of our daily OMNIA, and/or CORE training sessions and let our instructors guide you through inspiring training routines. These sessions will take place on and around the Omnia 8 rack and the Core section in the gym. Gym members can participate without additional cost or subscription. Just let the instructors know you are joining a few minutes before the training.
A group training circuit in which all major muscle groups are trained for strength and stamina by performing fundamental functional movements such as a squat, lunge, push, pull, lift rotation and various combinations using the Omnia 8 training utilities and several other training materials such as kettlebell, plyoboxes, speedladders, heavy ropes etc.

This is a group training session with a focus on improving core strength and core stability. Abs, lower back and glutes are main muscles to be trained in varied, challenging and fun routines using materials such as mats, BOSU, Medicine balls, Swiss balls, Flowing, ARKE and so on.

Senior Gym Workout (SGW)
A low intensity training session with an emphasis on strength and conditioning, mobility, flexibility and balance. For Senior members only.
