Eva Dieteren (E.D.)
Eva Dieteren in a teaching fellow in the Department of Society Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASoS). She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences at University College Maastricht and her Master of Science by Research in Gender and Culture at the University of Edinburgh.
Eva’s academic interests relate to the performance of gender, sexuality, and race in contemporary popular culture – focusing primarily on film and popular music. In particular, she has focused on topics related to popular feminism, queer theory, cyborg feminism, and posthuman feminist theory.
At FASoS, she teaches in the BA Digital Society, the BA Arts and Culture, and in the Minor Crucial Differences.
