    The ‘Keuzegids Bachelors 2018’, released today, shows a continued increase in our university’s scores. Our students’ positive evaluation has seen many programmes rise in the national rankings. All three UM colleges have been awarded a seal of quality, which distinguishes them as top programmes. Remarkably, University College Venlo, participating for the first time, leads the field; University College Maastricht and the Maastricht Science Programme also remain at the top of the Keuzegids.

    UCM alumnus Tom de Kruif History teacher of the year 2017

    Tom de Kruif, history teacher at Rijnlands Lyceum in Sassenheim (NL), was acclaimed: History Teacher of the year 2017. The winner was announced on 28 October during a festive gathering in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, hosted by Diewertje Blok. As winner of the title, de Kruif will be ambassador of Dutch history education for a year.
