Student-Meet Vol. 13: Inspiration: help, I’m stuck
Join us on 25 February 2026 for a Student-Meet about inspiration, creativity, and how to get moving when your brain refuses to cooperate, hosted by ESAB, the EDLAB Student Advisory Board.
How inspiration works and how to use it as a student
This interactive session explores how inspiration works in student life, how new ideas connect to your existing interests, how to shift from passive to directed thinking, and how to break through moments of stagnation during PBL, projects, and thesis work.
We are excited to welcome guest speaker Kim van Cruchten who will share insights from her research, offer practical frameworks, and discuss personal experiences with inspiration in academic and creative contexts. Students will engage in hands-on activities designed to help them move from insight → action using simple, repeatable strategies. Kim van Cruchten is a lecturer at the Department of Organisation, Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the School of Business and Economics.
You’ll head home with a small flyer that captures a few practical steps you can use straight away.
Open to all UM students.
Low-key, practical, and very student-friendly.
And yes, food will be provided.
We look forward to welcoming you at EDLAB!
