Whether it is for writing a newspaper article, to diagnose someone, or when you want to understand people’s behaviour or success, interviews can be a rich source of information. However, when is a specific type of interview the best fit for the purpose that you have in mind? How to conduct such an interview? And what to do with all the information that you have gathered? This project will introduce a selected number of interview techniques, that can be used in different settings, focussing on (tacit) knowledge transfer interviews and medical/psychological intake interviews. Within workshops, you will practice to conduct and analyse different interviewing techniques. This project aims to inspire you to make optimal use of interviews in future work.
