Contest Bicycle Helmet
The Dutch resident is not a fan of wearing a bicycle helmet, although that research shows, that wearing a helmet reduces the risk of brain injury by 36% and can prevent a lot of suffering, even for that short ride to school or work. That is why HersenStrijdFonds has initiated a special day per year to gain more visibility for this.
On our last MHeNs Research Day, we asked the participants what we could do to motivate people to put on a helmet each time they got on their bike. The best 5 ideas got a helmet today, to use themselves or to pass it through to someone who doesn’t has one yet.
The winners and ideas are:

Hopefully there are organizations that want/can develop these ideas further so that we will have a safer bicycle use on the (Dutch) roads.
