Microscopy Autumn School 2022
7-11 November 2022

Aim: Gain knowledge and training on advanced methods in light and electron microscopy
Addressed to: PhD students, postdocs and technicians of UM and MUMC+
Attendants: 16 participants (4 groups, 4 participants per group)
Methodology
Introductory lectures in the morning (9.00 - 11.00), workshops in the afternoon (12.00 - 17.30)
The lectures will cover Advanced Light Microscopy, Room temperature and Cryo-methods for Electron Microscopy, Transmission and Scanning Electron Microscopy, Cryo-Electron Microscopy and Image Processing. In the practical courses you will:
- Acquire images with light and electron microscopes
- Process your data
- Interpret your images and reconstructions
