This unit follows up on the parallel unit 6 Research Skills I from year 1. Parallel unit 10 is set up analogous to parallel unit 6. Selected assignments from units 7 to 9 together form this parallel unit. The unit is partly campus-based (during unit 7) and mostly distance based (in the rest of the year). The student receives feedback when the assignments are submitted in the regular block (i.e. units 7, 8 or 9). The recording of these assignments contributes to the grade for parallel unit 10.
The student can: - Choose and justify methods and design of educational research, - Apply and justify the empirical cycle, - Formulate a research question, - Choose and justify a research design, - Choose and justify a sampling method - Critically review scientific papers.
