Leticia Rettore Micheli (L.)
I am a PhD candidate at the Maastricht University Center of Neuroeconomics (MU-CeN: http://researchers-sbe.unimaas.nl/neuroeconomics/). My current research focuses on the behavioural and neurobiological components of social decision-making, which I investigate using laboratory experimentation and employing various techniques such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, functional MRI and facial expression recognition. My research is strongly interdisciplinary, drawing heavily on concepts from disciplines such as Psychology, Economics, Marketing and Neuroscience. During my doctoral training I have mainly investigated how social inequality affects redistributive and consumer behaviour and the neural mechanisms of social norms of fairness and reciprocity.
