Dr J.F.H. Nijhuis
My research interest is in the field of student learning in a broad sense, ranging from dropout in the first year to the career of bachelor graduates. Based on students’ characteristics and study behaviour my aim is to provide guidelines to students and to give policy makers advice how to improve performance of students. My research in this field requires a variety of data-gathering methods, management of data-sets, and different statistical techniques.
