Are you curious about studying science and technology at Maastricht University? Join our FSE STEM Orientation Day and discover which of our bachelor’s programmes is the right fit for you.

This event brings together all six STEM programmes offered by the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE):

This is your opportunity to explore multiple STEM study paths, experience Maastricht’s unique Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach, and connect directly with students and staff. By the end of the day, you’ll have a clear sense of which programme best matches your interests and ambitions.

What to expect?

Welcome and introduction

Begin the day with a warm welcome and a short introduction to the Faculty of Science and Engineering

Programme pitches

Hear from programme directors and academic staff as they present six of our bachelor’s programmes in short, engaging pitches

Campus and city tour

Explore the university and the vibrant city of Maastricht with a guided tour

Lunch with current students

Enjoy lunch while connecting with current FSE bachelor students, who will share their personal study experiences

Interactive workshops

Work on a central case study and see how different programmes approach the same problem. You’ll get to join two workshops of your choice, giving you the chance to compare the programmes that interest you most

Speed dating with students

End the day with an informal speed dating round: chat one-on-one with current students over light snacks and get answers to all your questions
