CAPHRI-ASPHER course Public Health Strategy I
The Care and Public Health Research Institute (CAPHRI), The Asssociation of Schools of Public Health in the European Region (ASPHER) and The Open Medical Institute (OMI) have joined forces to build a new Public Health Academy. Within this partnership several courses are offered to CAPHRI PhD candidates. From 3 until 9 December 2023 the course 'Public Health Strategy I' will take place.
The seminar Pubic Health Strategy includes three parts: 1) Public Health- in a nutshell,2) Public Health Law and 3) Public Health strategy.

Kasia Czabanowska, PhD is an Associate Professor at the International Health Department, School CAPHRI, Maastricht University, the Netherlands. She directs the Governance and Leadership in European Public Health programme.
Scott Burris, JD is Professor of Law and Public Health at Temple University, where he directs the Center for Public Health Law Research.
The course will take place at the Open Medical Institute, Schloss Arenberg, Salzburg, Austria. The course is open to 6 CAPHRI PhD candidates (first come, first serve).

€300. Including dinners and hotel accommodation. For your travel expenses, there will be a reimbursement up to €200 (after submission of original receipts).
