This course covers the wide range of issues that need to be considered when conducting or preparing to give conference presentation in English. All presentations are recorded and detailed feedback is provided. This course is open to PhD-candidates, employees and external clients.

This means you will need a level of Dutch that lets you communicate confidently and reasonably accurately. This Dutch course, divided into five modules, is for beginner, intermediate and proficiency levels and for different situations, including work, studies or holidays. You’ll focus on improving your speaking and listening skills as well as on grammar, reading and writing to support the learning process. The course consists of two-hour group lessons, twice per week for 7 weeks or once per week for 14 weeks.

Are you starting your studies at Maastricht University but don’t speak Dutch yet? Then this is the perfect course for you. In seven weeks, you will learn basic Dutch with a focus on speaking and listening skills.
Have you obtained the bachelor ITM degree at Maastricht University, but not completed your secondary education in the Dutch language, and you would like to follow a medical master’s degree in Dutch (which is exclusively open to students with a bachelor's degree in Medicine from Maastricht University)? If so, you will have to follow a course in medical Dutch, in addition to passing the NT2 State Exam of Dutch as a second language, programme II (Staatsexamen NT2, programma II). If you wish to follow a course at your own pace and at times that are convenient for you, our course with online coaching could be what you’re looking for.
Do you intend to take the National Examination of Dutch as a Second Language (Staatsexamen NT2, programma II)? Or do you need to take it again? This exam training will help you significantly improve your chances of passing the exam. This is not a Dutch course, but purely an exam training through which you'll learn strategies that are sure to give you a better chance of success. It consists of seven lessons, each lasting two hours. Every lesson requires two to three hours of independent study.
