  • Research Master in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience is a 'Top Rated Programme' and 1st in its category in the national Keuzegids ranking

    The Research Master in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience is a "Top Rated Programme" and ranked 1st in the Psychology: Neuroscience research master’s category of the 2019 Keuzegids Masters. This programme has been ranked best in its class for 2 years in row. Like last year, the programme’s total score was among the top programmes nationally and is therefore awarded with the Keuzegids distinguished quality seal.

    The programme attained a total score of 80.

    The Keuzegids Masters offers rankings of all master’s programmes in the Netherlands. These rankings are based on the results from the Dutch National Student Survey, combined with expert evaluations. The Keuzegids is published annually by the Dutch Higher Education Information Centre. It is an independent publication that allows you to compare all accredited master’s programmes in the Netherlands.

  • 91% of students recommend this programme: Elsevier

    The Elsevier Best Studies Guide is published once a year by the Dutch magazine Elsevier. It contains student evaluations of each programme's education, contact hours, facilities, structure, instructors and assessment methods, as well as its organisation and communication. The guide is largely based on the results of the Dutch National Student Survey.

  • UM is the sixth best Young University in the world

    The Young University Rankings 2020

    Maastricht University is sixth place in the 2020 Times Higher Education (THE) 'Young Universities' ranking for best young universities in the world. UM is proud that its efforts, including in the fields of education and research, have been rewarded in this ranking.

    In the 2020 QS 'Top 50 Under 50' (best universities in the world under 50 years old), UM rose from 23rd to 19th place. 

    These special rankings for young universities are published to give an indication as to which universities are expected in the future to become the top universities worldwide.
