Maastricht University offers various opportunities to develop yourself outside of the tutorial rooms. Research Project Maastricht is an international consultancy project consisting of twelve UM-students. In January, the team will travel to China, to conduct company-specific research. China has a unique business culture, and last week the RPM team was trained by the Confucius Institute. The training focused on how to behave in Chinese business spheres, how to interpret a 'hmm I will think about it' in a business meeting, and do's and dont's during a business dinner. A perfect preparation for the research period in China!
