Registration

I am currently a Bachelor’s student at the UA and I wish to start the Double Degree Master’s Programme in September, do I have to register before the registration deadline? Or do I also have the possibility to register after the deadline?

You might hesitate to register, because you do not (yet) meet the requirements. The registration deadline is June 15th. You will also have to register before this date in case you do not yet meet the requirements, but you expect to, after the registration deadline. Please note that you will have to send in the additional documents (for example, a copy of your diploma) before the start of the programme. It is not possible to register for the programme after the aforementioned date.

Substantive Tax Law

I am not sure whether I meet the ‘substantive tax law’-requirement, what should I do?
In case you are not sure whether you meet the requirement of substantive tax law, we offer you the possibility to have your documents checked by the Programme Director Prof. Dr. Anouk Bollen-Vandenboorn. Please send your documents to: anouk.bollen@maastrichtuniversity.nl.

What can I do in case I do not meet the required number of educational hours and therefore do not meet the requirement of ‘substantive tax law’?
In case you do not meet the requirement of ‘substantive tax law’ you will have to take an entrance exam. You have two possibilities:
(1) Spring courses in Aruba or Curaçao: by attending and passing the Spring courses you will meet the aforementioned requirement.
(2) Regular entrance exam: instead of attending the Spring courses you may also choose to take the regular (online) entrance exam, which is based on self-study. To register for the regular entrance exam, please send an e-mail to: admissions-law@maastrichtuniversity.nl.

Where do I find more information about the Spring courses?
