Courses & curriculum 2022 - 2023

Consistent with the challenge-driven philosophy of the program, we developed a unique curriculum starting with an intense on-boarding activity, followed by highly integrated courses.

In the first period, you will follow the core course “Economics and Data” in which we simultaneously teach economic theory and methods that are relevant to all specialisations. In period 2, you will study the first courses of two separate specialisations. This will facilitate personalised learning in the sense that you will get the opportunity  ”test” two specialisations before settling on your final specialisation choice. Next to your courses, you will follow a floating thesis skill training, preparing you for your thesis in the second semester. In the second semester, you will work on a project and take your second course related to your chosen specialisation.

These course details are provided for the general information of prospective students, and are subject to change. No rights can be derived from this information with regard to graduation requirements, scheduling, content, examinations or other assessment procedures for the degree courses described here. Complete details of study programmes for each academic year are published on the SBE Student Intranet and in the Education and Examination Regulations (EER).
