Do you need to have proof of your proficiency in English for a college admission or a new job? Would you like to make sure that you are taking an English proficiency test feeling completely prepared? Then the IELTS preparation course may just be what you are looking for. The Cambridge University IELTS test measures your ability to read, write, speak and listen in English. It is an internationally recognised English proficiency test for academic and other purposes. During the course, you will build on your current English skills. Our qualified English teachers with IELTS expertise will help you get a good test score by giving you examination practice and familiarising you with test strategies. Your test-taking strengths and weaknesses will be diagnosed at different moments throughout the program. Based on your results, we’ll help you focus on what you need to improve to obtain a higher score.

The course prepares you for the Cambridge University IELTS test. Please note that the Language Centre only provides the training for the test. You will have to sign up for the actual test separately. You will be able take the IELTS in Maastricht, provided that enough students are interested in taking the test here. It is possible to take the test in several nearby cities such as Eindhoven, Aachen, Cologne and Brussels. You can sign up for the test at a test centre of your choice through the IELTS website. In this case, they will also provide your certificate.

Students should have at least an intermediate level of English (CEF B2) which should be sent to the Language Centre on application for the course or at the optional placement interview.
