Bram Oosterbroek (B.)
Bram Oosterbroek holds a Bachelor and Master of Environmental Sciences (2012), obtained at Wageningen University. He also completed a Minor in Nature Conservation (BSc) and Geo Information Science (MSc) there. During his MSc thesis, he developed a spatial model to predict mosquito nuisance in the Netherlands. Thereafter, he worked part-time at the Foundation for Sustainable Development and at consultancy agency Tauw. During that time, he further specialized in ecosystem services and the application of geo information systems to model ecological and environmental phenomena.
In May 2013, he started working at ICIS as a PhD researcher in the fields of ecosystem services, spatial modeling, human health and biodiversity. He is working on a spatial (geographic) model to assess and optimise the impact of ecosystems on human health.
