Maastricht University offers you the opportunity to organise academic events, conferences, courses and workshops at UM Campus Brussels. Are you a UM staff member, student or alumni? Then you are welcome to make use of our venue ideally located near the European Institutions!
UM Campus Brussels offers meeting rooms and staff support for UM staff (researchers, educators and students) who want to organise education, research, and knowledge transfer activities. There are two types of services: “standard” and “non-standard”.
The monumental UM Campus Brussels' historical building is located in a popular Brussels residential area near Montgomery, well known for the large amount of embassies and representations in the immediate surroundings. From a practical perspective, the Campus is ideally situated between central metro and bus stops Merode and Montgomery and is only a few minutes away from the European institutions and the city centre by both car and public transport.
At this unique venue, UM Campus Brussels offers its specialized rooms and facilities, aimed to provide both internal and external organizers with the best tools to host their events. UM Campus Brussels also enables organizers to promote their event through the UM Campus Brussels media channels and through our newsletter.

The reception area of the UM Campus Brussels allows for event organisers or events officers to meet and welcome particpants to courses, conferences and workshops. Course material can be displayed and the area can used for group pictures.

Situated on the first floor of the building, Bel-Etage is one of the largest rooms at the Campus. Standing in the northern side of the room, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Montgomery Square with a large fountain in the middle and the statue of the Field Marchal Bernard Montgomery facing it.

The Maastricht Room can host up to 26 people seated in boardroom style. The room has a fixed set up and is located on the 2nd floor. The room gives access to the Blue Room allowing for lunches and coffee breaks to be held on the same floor.

The Blue Room allows for small one on one meetings or a space for event organisers to retreat to whilst preparing an event. It is usually booked in combination with the Maastricht Room functioning as a break-out area for lunches and coffee breaks.

The Brussels room is located on the third floor of the Campus. It can be accessed by stairs or by lift. It can be set up in boardroom and classroom style for 24 people or in lecture style for 40 people.
