UCM student Arthur Bribosia, helped to organize last week’s climate march. If you were there, you would have seen him deliver the opening speech with a few others!

"I feel like studying at UCM makes you aware that there are a million problems in this world, that the system is messed up and that there is an urgent need for change. In tutorials, we have very intense and critical discussions were we hate on the system and call for change. But then we go home, prepare for the next task and get very intense and critical about this new problem. Most of the time, this energy for change never really leaves the university bubble. Co-organizing the climate march was a great opportunity to do something meaningful and to actually contribute to the change we keep calling for in tutorial rooms. I think it is important to use our knowledge and get involved in and with society because what we learn only has value if we apply it to the real world.

Studying should not keep you from doing more, it should help you do more."

      - Arthur Bribosia

    • Yesterday, Maastricht hosted its first climate march! According to multiple sources, there were over 3,000 participants from all generations.

As you may have seen in the previous video, quite a few UCM students and alumni were present with banners and posters. Were you at the march?
