Why Maastricht?
At Maastricht University (UM), our goal is to prepare students in the best possible way for a career either in the Netherlands or abroad. By focusing on learning through analysing and solving relevant international issues, Problem-Based Learning challenges and encourages students to do their best. At UM, more than half of our bachelor’s programmes are taught in English and there are ample opportunities to study abroad. Our students and academic staff come from over 70 different countries.

During our information sessions you’ll find out everything you need to know about our programmes, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), admissions and tuition fees. Not only UM staff but also our students and alumni will tell you what studying in Maastricht is like. They’ll be more than happy to share their stories about the tops and flops of their student time, their internships and early careers.
