Research Master in Health Sciences
As European healthcare begins to overlap national boundaries, the innovations and advantages of each system are increasingly widespread. The opportunities for research within this new healthcare dynamic are numerous. The Research Master in Health Sciences at Maastricht University is educating a new generation of healthcare researchers to be on the cutting-edge of healthcare innovation throughout the European Union.
The Research Master in Health Sciences was developed by the staff of the School for Public Health and Primary Care (CAPHRI), and other staff members of the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences. Students participate in current research at CAPHRI during their studies.
The Research Master in Health Sciences is a two-year programme taught in English.
International network
Maastricht University is currently the only university in the Netherlands that offers a two-year research master’s in Health Sciences. The programme collaborates with a number of foreign universities to conduct student exchanges, receive visiting lecturers and collaborate on research programmes.
