For an up-to-date overview of WiFi locations, see www.maastrichtuniversity.nl/wifi

For whom

Maastricht University’s WiFi network consists of three wireless networks, known as Service Set Identifiers (SSIDs). Students, employees and guests all have separate SSIDs: eduroam, UMnet and UMguest respectively. To make use of the WiFi facilities you must first connect to your respective network.

Students: More and more education institutes inside and outside the Netherlands are connecting to eduroam, an education network for mobile and international students.

You can find more information on eduroam at www.eduroam.org or www.eduroam.nl

The UMguest network is specially designed for guests of UM who do not have a UM account or an account at another institution connected to eduroam. UMguest only allows access to the internet.
