ILL account
The ILL account provides you with the possibility to make your ILL requests directly to other libraries, without involving the University Library. You can make requests for books and articles from periodicals that are unavailable from the library collection from your desk or from home. In addition, copies of articles can be supplied by e-mail.
The ILL account consists of a user number (UM card, which is also your library pass), a password and sufficient credit.

at the Maastricht University (UM) can only make use of the interlibrary loan service via an ILL account.
Opening an ILL account
In order to request an ILL account, your UM card needs to be activated as a library card. This can be done at the information desk.
You can fill in this application form via the library website. The ILL account will be created and you will receive your login information via e-mail.
The costs for an ILL request are €6.50 per item. In case requests can not be met, the amount will be refunded to the ILL account.
