Image and sound
The SURF Foundation website has a section with answers to frequently asked questions about how to manage the use of image and sound in higher education: Dutch copyright in images and audio.
The questions predominantly relate to video, but audio (music, sound) and still images (photos) are discussed as well.
In this context, video refers to any film, video programme or television programme in the broad sense of the word. Video and audio can be stored in various ways (e.g. on videotape, CD-ROM, DVD, computer hard disk, video server) and played (on a video recorder or DVD player, television or the internet).
