Research support
The University Library offers a broad range of products and services for Maastricht University (UM) researchers.
- First, of course, there is the eLibrary, which offers all kinds of academic information and information sources in support of UM research themes. As a researcher you can make suggestions for orders and thus help keep the collection up to date.
- To support you in efficiently and effectively searching for, finding and using academic information, the library offers skills training, including training in specific information and data files, EndNote and Evidence-Based Searching.
- Throughout the research process you can call upon the library to help you set up a literature review.
- The library also offers support in sharing and making available information in the context of interfaculty and/or interuniversity research cooperation.
- Once you complete your research, you can request library assistance in recording it in the Metis research registration system. This may involve uploading the research results (usually in the form of a publication, and often supplemented with data files and/or multimedia applications) in the institutional repository (digital display), and preparing personal publication overviews.
