Staff & Students UM/azM/AVMU

How to obtain a UM card?

Employees and students of Maastricht University (UM), employees of  the teaching hospital (academisch ziekenhuis Maastricht, azM), and employees and students of the University of Midwifery Education & Studies Maastricht (AVMU) automatically receive a UM card at the start of their employment or study respectively.

Activate the UM card

If you want to use your UM card as a library card, employees UM/AVM/AZM and students AVM need to activate the card at the ‘information desk’. This desk is located on the ground floor of the Inner City Library and at level 1 in the Randwyck Library.

For students UM the UM card is already activated.
