Web of Science (WoS)
The Web of Science is not only an electronic bibliography but also a citation database which you can use to find out which authors have most recently cited a certain publication.
This course compares the WoS with other electronic bibliographies and citation databases, and details the search options and literature analyses it offers. Attention is also paid to citation reports and the Hirsch index as standards for an article’s/author’s ‘impact’/productivity.
This course provides a first introduction to the use of and options offered by this database.
