Facilities Randwyck Computer Resource Centre

This centre provides a variety of (in total) 260 computer workstations and laptop workplaces (where users may connect their own laptop computers).

Software

The centre offers the standard library software applications, complemented by the required and specific software applications used by the Randwyck faculties. Please consult the library assistant at the computer resource centre desk about the latest composition of the (variable) software selection.

Diverse rooms

The computer resource centre consists of four large rooms, which can be used for instruction or tests. These are multimedia rooms, featuring a projector and an audio system. Every room has 45 workplaces, each fitted with a PC and a chair.

In addition, there is a room containing 45 TCs, running the standard library software applications. 

Lastly, there are smaller rooms, suitable for laptops and free use of computers.

WiFi MAASnet

The computer resource centre offers wireless network access for laptop users.

Printing and scanning facilities

4 Océ printers have been installed at various locations in the centre (near the entrances/exits), featuring Follow-Me-Printing.

In another room, 4 flatbed scanners have been installed.

USB flash drives

USB flash drives can be used on all workstations in the computer resource centre.
