Extending loan period

You can easily extend the borrowing term yourself via the UM catalogue.

Follow the next steps:

1. Use the direct link below.
2. Next to 'number', enter your card number (not your student/staff ID);
   after 'name', type the first three letters of your family name.
3. Go to the tab 'loans' and select the books whose borrowing terms you wish to extend.
4. Click on 'renew'.
   You then see a window with an overview of your extension(s).
5. Please check whether you see the new expiry date
   as the borrowing term for some books might not be extended for various reasons (e.g. if it has been reserved by someone else).
