Cancellation arrangement

Organising a workshop involves significant financial resources (i.e. the participation fee is far from sufficient to compensate the actual costs of the workshop) and available spots for students are often limited. Experience is that people do not always show up, often without any prior notification. UM Career Services expect the following from you: signing up = showing up!

This is professional behaviour we may expect from our students and this is also the code of conduct UM Career Services itself strives for.

If you do not cancel well in advance, you will be charged an administrative fee:

• If you should cancel within less than 7 days before the start of the workshop you are enrolled in, you will be charged an administrative fee of € 10 (incl. VAT).
• If you do not cancel before the start of the workshop, or do not show up at the workshop you are enrolled in, you will be charged with an administrative fee of € 25 (incl. VAT) but also the respective participation fee (€15,-).

After the respective workshop has taken place and you did not attend, the invoice will be sent to you.
