Cancellation arrangement training/workshops

Organising an event involves significant financial resources (i.e. the participation fee is far from sufficient to compensate the actual costs of the event) and available spots for students are often limited. Experience is that people do not always show up, often without any prior notification. UM Student Guidance expect the following from you:
signing up = showing up!
 
This is professional behaviour we may expect from our students and this is also the code of conduct UM Student Guidance itself strives for.
 
If you do not cancel well in advance, you will be charged an administrative fee:

• If you should cancel within less than 7 days before the start of the event you are enrolled in, you will be charged an administrative fee of € 10 (incl. VAT) but not the respective participation fee.
• If you do not cancel and do not show up at the event you are enrolled in, you will be charged an administrative fee of € 25 (incl. VAT) but also the respective participation fee.
• If an activity encompasses multiple days, you are allowed to miss one session if you have a good reason. If you are absent more than 1 session, you are not allowed to participate any further. Your participation fee will not be reimbursed.

After the respective event has taken place and you did not attend, the invoice will be sent to you.
