Every person living in the Netherlands for any period of time, needs to have health insurance. Please refer to the Nuffic website for the most up to date information on this subject.
PLEASE NOTE: On their website Nuffic mentions two insurance companies: IPS-Lippmann and AON. Maastricht University advises you to choose AON, as we have had better experiences with this company in the past.
