You will have expenses that are directly related to your studies, for example, tuition fees, study books, and other learning materials. But living the life of a student costs money as well. When you live on your own, you will need to pay for housing, groceries, insurance and leisure activities.

Your living expenses will depend on your individual lifestyle. Exact costs, of course, are impossible to determine. However, we have estimated that an average student will spend about € 750 per month (excl. tuition fees).
