Non-EU/EEA students
You may have heard about the new Administration Reinforcement Act (Wet versterking besturing), which will be implemented in the Netherlands on 1 September 2010. This act will have consequences for the tuition fees that students from the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and Suriname are required to pay.
What does this mean for you?
You are not a citizen of the EU, EEA, Switzerland or Suriname. This means that the new act will not apply to you and your tuition fees will remain the same (€12,000 for a full-time master’s and €8,500 for a full-time bachelor’s programme).
Authorisation
You will soon receive an authorisation form for payment of the 2011/12 tuition fees. Please return this form before 15 August 2010 to ensure that your registration is completed before 1 September (the start of the academic year). You will need to return the form before this date regardless of whether you pay the tuition fees yourself or your parents do. If you do not submit this authorisation form in time, you will not be registered for the upcoming academic year and will not be able to start your classes.
