The Translation and Editing Service delivers fast, professional translations in Dutch, English, French, German and various other foreign languages. We translate texts of all kinds, including:- academic papers

Clients
Cost
- 19 cents per word for Dutch–English or English–Dutch translations (minimum rate: €60), based on word count of target language (i.e. the translated text)
- Quotes for other languages available upon request
- No VAT charged for UM clients
- Urgent orders cost 20% extra
NB.
If you regularly have short texts for translation and you would rather not have to pay our minimum rate each time, you can request a monthly or quarterly invoice. We can then bundle the assignments you send us during a particular month or quarter and charge our usual word rate. At the end of the month or quarter, we will send you one single invoice for all of these jobs. In this way you can avoid the minimum rate!
We are also open to discussing a voucher system, where you pay a certain amount in advance (e.g. at the start of the year) for translations and/or editing work.
