Intake and Registrations
Intakes
Students who have applied for a language course requiring an intake, and those who need advice on the course level or type can arrange an appointment for an intake via e-mail. Each language has its own e-mail address for making appointments (click on the appropriate language below to see the e-mail address). Intakes are free of charge. The open office hours take place at Sint Servaasklooster 32 in Maastricht.
Please visit us for an intake well before the start of the course. If this is not possible, you can attend an intake later, but there will be fewer options. Also, at that time, it may not be possible anymore to switch levels because of a limited number of students per group.
Level assessments
The Language centre offers level assessments in various languages. If you need an official statement of your language skill, we can offer you a meeting with a trained instructor. He or she will interview you to determine your level of English or any other language we offer. A sample of your writing will also be assessed. The instructor will indicate your approximate level, based on the Common European Framework, on an official Language Centre form.
