Quality and work method
We work hard to ensure the quality of our courses, and to take the necessary steps to ensure your needs are met
Before the course you can take a self-test to determine your current and desired attainment levels. You also attend an intake interview to discuss your needs and expectations with our tutors, who are well versed in the languages they teach and fully able to transfer their knowledge in line with your wishes. All are native or near-native speakers and most have master’s degrees or experience in government and company positions.
We work in small groups, in line with the problem-based teaching method unique to UM. In most cases, the target language is the language of instruction; this immediately connects you to the language and ensures first-rate results.
All courses are geared to your needs. Our tailor-made courses in particular focus on a content-integrated approach incorporating texts actually used in your studies or work, and simulating the circumstances for which you need the language.
We regularly evaluate our courses to ensure they meet high standards and clients’ expectations. We also adhere to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR), which sets out recognised proficiency levels.
