“For a beautiful and unforgettable study time, Maastricht is the place to be! Student associations, study associations and sports clubs, there's always something that suits you. Even if you do not wish to join an association, you will still meet a lot of fellow students. This is especially true because of Problem-Based Learning (PBL); in every course, every tutorial group is made up out of different students. And that is not the only benefit of PBL: you will be intensely engaged in subject matters during the course period, which means you don't have to study so much for the exam itself, saving you plenty of time for fun activities.

It's also great to see that matters discussed in class are based on actual problems and situations from the 'real' world, so that they're easily recognisable and applicable. This form of education teaches you what it is to lead a group and to work together.

I've always wanted to know everything about human behaviour, why people act the way they do. That is exactly what you'll learn studying Psychology; that is why it's the perfect programme for me. Additionally, in Maastricht you will learn a lot about doing research and you'll be given the opportunity to set up and conduct a research project yourself during two course periods, which is a splendid opportunity to feel how it is to be a scientist.

The programme, PBL, the city, friends and the great atmosphere at the faculty make it a lot of fun for me to study here and I haven't regretted my decision to go to Maastricht for one second!”
