Career counsellors

The expertise of the career counsellors is both on study- and career choices and on labour market issues. A career counsellor can help you to clarify your questions about these subjects. At any time during your studies questions might raise, such as

• You are having doubts about your current study programme  and want to make sure that your next choice will be the best option;
• You want to find out which career options fit you best, and you would like to discuss your career with a professional;
• You know perfectly well what you want, but you could use some support in reaching your goal, for instance with the application process.
• You want to gain more insight into your career values, learning style, motivation and drives.
  

Individual counselling starts with an intake, after the intake there are – up to three - follow up sessions. It is expected that you exhibit an active attitude in every session, while the counsellor will guide you in a coaching manner. The premise is that you are offered the type of support that will enable you to solve your own question. An assignment is often used as an extra tool, sometimes you will take a test.
