Thesis prize for Mario Senden

Mario Senden, a Research Master Cognitive Neuroscience 2011 graduate, has received the prize for best Faculty of Psychology and Neuroscience thesis from Rector Gerard Mols on the Dies celebration held on Friday 13 January. The prize is awarded annually to a graduate of each UM faculty by Stichting Wetenschapsbeoefening UM (Foundation of Academic Practice UM). The prize consists of an amount of € 500 and a certificate.
Mario Senden's acclaimed thesis is titled: "Structural connectivity and the resting state: Elucidating the role of the default mode network and the relationship between structural and functional connectivity." Rector Mols praised the manner in which Mario Senden connects cognitive sciences to other scientific disciplines, particularly mathematics.
