SBE and UvA further formalize cooperation iEMFC

7 January 2010

On 22 November 2009 the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics signed an agreement with the University of Amsterdam formalizing the further cooperation concerning the joint part-time international Executive Master of Finance and Control (iEMFC) Programme. Professor Eddy Vaassen, Professor of Accounting Information Systems and managing director of the iEMFC programme was present on behalf of the SBE. The programme, which is taught entirely in English, prepares for two degrees: the Dutch Registered Controller (RC) degree and the Executive Master of Finance and Control degree (EMFC). Education consists of six two-week blocks, yet the entire programme is expected to take up 2.5 years in total. Classes will not only be given in Maastricht and Amsterdam, but also in Boston and Shanghai.  The programme aims for university graduates who have already been working in international financial practice for at least two years.

More information about the iEMFC programme can be found here.
