IGIR Fellow Leila Choukroune conducts lecture series at National Law University Delhi

IGIR Fellow, Dr. Leïla Choukroune is currently performing a research stay with our Indian partner, the National Law University Delhi. This research is funded by a grant she has obtained from NWO and the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR). In the context of this stay she is giving a series of lectures and research seminars on the interactions between trade, investment and human rights.)

This lecture series by IGIR Fellow Leila Choukroune is conceived as an introduction to some of the most salient and topical debates in the field of international trade and investment law and their relations to international human rights. The lectures are open to graduate students, PhDs and Faculties and any other student, staff or partner expressing a keen interest in international trade and investment law. The parallel research seminar sessions aim at developing and consolidating a long term research cooperation between National Law University Delhi (NLUD) and Maastricht University Law Faculty. One of the key features of this partnership are plans for a joint PhD programme. Potential PhD candidates have been invited to participate in these sessions planned as a laboratory for doctoral and research projects elaboration. The lecture titles include:
