Euro*MBA receives top rating by The Economist

9 March 2010

The Euro*MBA is a truly European programme for internationally oriented managers and professionals, designed and realized by a consortium of six European universities/business schools of outstanding calibre, among which the Maastricht University School Of Business and Economics.

The rating published by The Economist evaluates distance learning programmes run by the 100 business schools that participate in its MBA ranking. The report includes a list of the 13 best schools based on the criteria referring to programme content, quality and effectiveness of online materials, students ‘opinion on the faculty and their classmates, return on investment, etc.

The Euro*MBA was awarded a rating of EXCELLENT for the programme content and GOOD for the effectiveness of distance learning elements and quality of fellow students. The programme shares the top positions with Instituto de Empresa (Spain) and Thunderbird School of Global Management (U.S.), which the Financial Times ranks 6 and 67 respectively for their Global MBA programmes.  Not only that, but the Economist ratings also favour Euro*MBA over such top business schools as: Warwick (ranked 42 by Financial Times), Aston (ranked 73), Imperial College (ranked 32), Indiana (ranked 57) and Bradford (ranked 89).

The Economist rating consolidates Euro*MBA´s global position as distance learning MBA programme, and SBE is extremely proud to have played a part in this!
