EU grant for Jan Ramaekers and Kim Kuypers

Prof. Jan Ramaekers and Dr. Kim Kuypers (both at NP&PP) have received an EU FP7 grant of €500,000 for their participation as partner in the collaborative research project “Addictions and lifestyles in contemporary Europe – reframing addictions project (ALICE-RAP)”. Their research will focus on brain reactivity to substance marketing and portrayal in frequent users of alcohol and cannabis. The work will be conducted in collaboration with the National Intitute for Alcohol Policy (Nederlands Instituut voor Alcoholbeleid, STAP).
