Alumna Marcia Luyten new Buitenhof presenter

Marcia Luyten, a former student of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, will be the new VPRO presenter of Buitenhof. She graduated from the MA (doctoraal) programme in Arts and Sciences in 1996 and is currently working as a journalist for NRC Handelsblad, de Volkskrant and VPRO.
In the coming season she will be presenting Buitenhof once every three weeks, together with Pieter Jan Hagens (AVRO). Buitenhof is co-produced by AVRO, VPRO and VARA. It is not yet known who will be the new VARA presenter.
Luyten has furthermore been taken on by de Volkskrant to write a regular column for its opinion pages.
