SBE’s MSc International Business consolidates its position in Financial Times ranking: 29th place

15 October 2009

In its third year of participating in this ranking Maastricht University School of Business and Economics saw its place among the top 50 universities that offer Master in Management Programmes confirmed by the Financial Times.

A few months ago alumni provided the Financial Times with information about their career, their employers and their salary. SBE submitted data on the international character of the student body and employees, international mobility of its students, language of instruction and other related issues.

SBE’s strong points remain as they have been in previous years:

  • value for money (ranked 3rd place): alumni are satisfied about the duration and cost of the programme when they consider their current position in life;
  •  aims achieved percentage (ranked 20th place):  a large number of alumni has achieved the goals they had set for themselves when they graduated;
  • international mobility (ranked 11th place): a large number of our alumni decides to pursue a career outside the Netherlands, thus proving their international outlook;
  • international students percentage (ranked 14th place): the international diversity of the student population has increased compared to last year’s ranking.

As in previous years, a number of partner universities earned a place in the top 10: ESCP Europe (3), Grenoble Graduate School of Business (7) and Mannheim Business School (8). EDHEC Lille/Nice, who is also a Double Degree partner of SBE, was placed 11th.
